Claire M. Dawson is an associate with the Frankfurt Law Office. Her major areas of practice include Criminal Defense and Personal Injury. Claire also has experience practicing at the appellate level. Currently a member of the Colorado Bar Association as well as the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar, Claire takes an active role in client representation. She has extensive experience and has defended a multitude of cases including DUIs, Child Abuse, Prostitution, Sexual Assault and many others.
Claire’s experience includes in-depth motions practice and trial advocacy skills. Claire has had measured success in her motions practice, including complete dismissal of a high profile hate crime case based upon Claire’s discovery of falsified information in arrest affidavits.
Claire received her undergraduate degree in strategic communications and advertising from the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri School of Law.
Claire has a Certificate of Dispute Resolution from one of the top legal dispute resolution schools in the country and has extensive experience in negotiation, mediation and arbitration techniques. Additionally Claire has received awards for her conflict theory skills as well as her skills in client counseling and arbitration. Specifically, Claire was awarded second place in the American Bar Association’s National Arbitration Competition.
